Job summary

MMR Group, Inc. seeks an HSE Project Technician for its Southaven, MS site to support safety programs on a full-time basis during a 3-month contract. The role involves orientation, audits, and on-site coaching, with a focus on incident prevention and regulatory compliance.

The candidate must have OSHA 30, electrical HSE experience, and bilingual capabilities. The position features a 84-hour work week, day or night shifts, and per diem opportunities in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 required and electrical HSE experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Candidate should have safety program experience and site orientation duties.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Safety Coordinator or Branch Office Safety Coordinator.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation and Site-Specific Orientation.
• Accompany injured employees to Medical Facilities for treatment and case management.
• Perform field inspections and audits (e.g., JSEA’s, Equipment Inspections, Ground Assurance, safety equipment checks).
• Participate in Behavioral Based Safety Program observations and feedback.
• Enter observation details into BBS Observation Database.
• Assist in entering and uploading site training in MMR Files for record retention.
• Provide on-site coaching to ensure training is understood.
• Enforce safety procedures and Life Critical Policies.
• Correct unsafe acts or conditions and participate in daily safety meetings.
• Stay current on MMR HS&E policies and regulatory requirements.
