Job summary

MMR Group, Inc. seeks a full-time HSE Project Technician for the Abilene, TX site. Responsibilities include coordinating safety orientations, inspections, and incident follow-ups to maintain a safe work environment across ongoing projects.

The role requires OSHA 30, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3–5 years of HSE experience in electrical settings. Bilingual ability preferred; 58-hour workweek and strict compliance with safety policies are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Candidate has strong safety awareness and ability to enforce procedures.
• Experience with safety programs, incident investigations, and on-site coaching is preferred.
• OSHA and electrical safety knowledge applicable to industrial construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Safety Coordinator and/or Branch Safety Coordinator.
• Conduct New Hire and Site Orientation per MMR procedures.
• Assist with accident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Perform field inspections and audits of equipment, PPE, and safety practices.
• Maintain and enter safety training in MMR database and ensure compliance with Life Critical Policies.
• Participate in Daily JSEA and Toolbox meetings; promote safe work practices.
