Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to support commercial electricians. The role involves assisting with conduit installation, wire pulls, material handling, and climbing ladders while following safety policies.

Travel may be required and a minimum of 6 months electrical experience is preferred. Eligible applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or be able to obtain, and pass pre-employment background and MVR

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months recent electrical experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
