Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Suffolk, Virginia, seeks a full-time Electrical Helper to support commercial electricians with hands-on tasks and material handling. You will mount and install conduit, wires and strapping, assist in wire pulls, and work from ladders while following safety policies.

Travel may be required. Qualifications include at least 6 months electrical experience, a High School diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain it, and passing background/MVR checks

Qualifications

• 6 months of electrical experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain it.
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks will be conducted when driving duties apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial electricians with tasks and material handling.
• Mount and install conduit, wires and strapping as directed.
• Assist in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Work from all types of ladders and follow safety policies.
• Travel may be required.
