Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Suffolk, Virginia seeks a full-time Electrical Helper to support licensed electricians with conduit, wiring, and material handling on job sites.

The role involves assisting with wire pulls, mounting and securing installations, climbing ladders, and adhering to safety policies; travel may be required. Requirements include at least 6 months of electrical experience, a high school diploma or GED, OSHA 10 or ability to obtain, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months recent electrical experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
