Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an Assembler in our Electric Heat division to assemble heater unit product codes and fabricate components per work orders, blueprints, and engineering specs.

You will apply electrical wiring knowledge, read blueprints, and work with control units, breakers, relays, and thermostats in a high‑volume setting. The role requires attention to safety and quality in a loud manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• ASME brazing procedures certifications (BPS-B1..BPS-B5).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Lay out electrical installation diagrams per wiring specs.
• Drill and tap holes for mounting control units.
• Attach breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, insulators.
• Hydro test to specification.
• Paint product as required.
• Install and wire thermostats and options.
• Fabricate bussing and solder connections.
• Test and adjust electrical components.
• Clarify assembly problems with supervision or engineering.
