Job summary

Stellantis is seeking an Electrical Designer I to design and develop medium-complexity wiring harnesses, brackets and troughs for vehicle applications. You will address logbook issues, implement design changes, and support quality and manufacturing resolution initiatives.

Ideal candidates have an ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent, 3+ years of automotive design, and strong NX/Teamcenter competencies. Strong documentation and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree required or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years automotive design experience.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes.
• Minimum of 3 years of NX and TeamCenter experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to organize a project and demonstrated follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with GD&T and DFSS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop medium-complexity wiring harnesses (door harnesses, lift-gates, fascias, consoles), brackets, and troughs; implement changes to existing designs.
• Address and resolve logbook issues and manufacturing quality concerns.
• Modify complex components and drive quality improvements; resolve CNs and manufacturing issues.
• Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerance to new designs and manage data in NX/Teamcenter.
• Coordinate EBOM2TC mapping, part aliasing, and positioning within the design package.
