Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking an Electrical Designer I to design and develop medium complexity wiring harnesses, brackets and troughs for automotive applications, and to modify existing designs.

The role requires 3+ years in automotive design, NX and Teamcenter experience, and strong project management and communication skills. You will address logbook issues and contribute to quality and manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years' automotive design experience.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management process.
• Minimum of 3 years of NX and Teamcenter experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
• Ability to organize a project - basic program management skills.
• Demonstrated organizational, follow up and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop medium complexity wiring harnesses, brackets and troughs; modify existing designs.
• Address and resolve logbook issues; changes to existing parts/assemblies.
• Quality improvements; CNs and manufacturing issue resolution.
• Manage NX/Teamcenter structure, EBOM2TC; part aliasing and positioning.
• Create design study proposals; address serviceability.
