Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Wiring Harness Design Responsible (DR) - Discipline Manager for its Auburn Hills engineering teams. The role demands ownership of low- and high-voltage harness systems across multiple vehicle platforms, leading DLs, DREs, and supplier engineers to drive robust design and issue resolution.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 10 years in automotive development, with responsibilities spanning design approval, DFMEAs, DVPRs, PPAPs,

Qualifications

• Owning low and/or high voltage wiring harness systems across multiple vehicle platforms.
• Leading a team of Tier-1 supplier engineering teams, including performance management.
• Wiring harness architecture and integration - routing, segmentation, grounding, protection and connection systems.
• End-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle from concept through launch and production, including warranty resolution.
• Managing PLM, requirements flow-down, release processes and OEM governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage DLs, DREs, and supplier engineering teams across programs.
• Approve wiring harness designs, changes, DFMEAs, DVPRs, and PPAPs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve technical, timing, and cost issues.
• Drive design-to-cost, weight reduction, and manufacturability while maintaining robustness, quality.
