Job summary

Stellantis Auburn Hills seeks a Wiring Harness Design Responsible (DR) – Discipline Manager to lead harness architecture and supplier teams across multiple vehicle platforms. You will own design requirements, DFMEAs, DVPRs, and PPAPs, ensuring cost, weight, and robustness targets are met while aligning with program milestones.

You will coach DLs and DREs, coordinate with Vehicle Integration, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management, and drive design-to-cost improvements within Stellantis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10 years of automotive product development experience with wiring harness systems.
• Ownership of wiring harness systems across multiple vehicle platforms; leadership of supplier teams.

Responsibilities

• Own harness architecture, routing, segmentation, grounding, and attachment methods across programs.
• Lead and manage DLs, DREs, and supplier engineering teams to ensure execution and alignment.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Vehicle Integration, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management.
• Support Build To Print strategy and ensure compliance with Stellantis standards.
