Stellantis is seeking an Electrical Designer I in Auburn Hills, MI to design medium complexity wiring harnesses and related components, while modifying existing designs and addressing logbook issues. The role requires an associate degree in engineering, 3 years of automotive design experience, and familiarity with PLM processes.

Responsibilities include applying GD&T, managing NX/Teamcenter structure, and proposing design studies to improve serviceability and manufacturing effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years automotive design experience.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management process.
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
• Ability to organize a project with basic program management skills.
• Demonstrated organizational, follow-up and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop medium complexity wiring harnesses, brackets and troughs; modify existing designs.
• Address and resolve logbook issues and manufacturing issues on existing parts/assemblies.
• Apply GD&T to new designs and ensure model integrity (0,0,0) and positioning.
• Create design study proposals and ensure serviceability; address logbook issues.
• Manage NX/Teamcenter structure, EBOM2TC, part aliasing and positioning.
