Job summary

CONFLUX SYSTEMS in Atlanta seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, validate, and support embedded hardware for connected products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions.

The role focuses on DFx, BOM management, wireless designs (Thread, Matter, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi), MCU interfaces (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN), and driver support across the full lifecycle. Excellent problem solving and documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with embedded hardware design and PCB development.
• Expertise in Thread and Matter wireless technologies; Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi preferred.
• Knowledge of Silicon Expert, IHS, Altium Designer, and Windchill PLM.
• Experience with cable harness design and C/C++/C#/Python for test firmware; familiarity with regulatory standards (FCC, ETSI, UL, CE).
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and release embedded circuit board designs.
• Develop hardware architectures with cross-functional software, firmware, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
• Design wireless connectivity solutions using Thread, Matter, Bluetooth, and Wi‑Fi.
• Design microcontroller interfaces using USB, SPI, I2C, Serial, and CAN protocols.
• Apply DFx principles for PCB assembly, testing, and manufacturability.
• Manage component lifecycle, BOM analysis, supply chain risks, alternate sourcing, and end-of-life validation.
• Create component specifications, verification test plans, and engineering documentation.
• Support firmware teams with driver requirements and ensure successful product release through the complete engineering lifecycle.
