Job summary

Canyon State Electric in Arizona is seeking a full-time Electrical Project Manager responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and budgeting electrical projects. You will work with estimators, superintendents, and foremen to ensure projects start strong and finish on schedule.

The role requires a working knowledge of electrical materials, methods, and safety standards, plus the ability to lead diverse teams, manage time, and control costs while communicating clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field).
• 3–5 years of project management experience in electrical contracting or construction.
• Proven track record managing $1M–$10M electrical projects end-to-end.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
• Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide teams through all project phases from inception to completion with clear communication.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, budget, timeline, resources, and risk management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define goals and success criteria.
• Allocate resources and manage personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effective resource use.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation plans throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain strong client relationships with regular updates and change management.
• Ensure quality control and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
