Job summary

Jobot seeks a seasoned General Foreman to lead electrical field operations on a $50 million higher education project in the Bay Area. You will oversee 40–60 electricians, drive schedules, ensure quality, and uphold safety from rough‑in to commissioning, collaborating with management and other trades.

Qualifications

• Experience managing 30+ craftworkers as a General Foreman.

• Higher-education or student-housing project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, schedule, and motivate field crews; forecast manpower and material needs.
• Coordinate daily with general contractor, campus officials, and other trades to resolve issues.
• Enforce zero-incident safety culture and NEC/Cal‑OSHA compliance.
• Oversee QA/QC, review drawings, and implement BIM-driven strategies.
• Track production, approve timecards, and report progress to project leadership.
• Mentor foremen and apprentices, fostering skill development.

Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned General Foreman to lead all electrical field operations on a $50 million higher education development. Overseeing 40‑60 electricians, you will drive schedules, quality, and safety from rough‑in through final commissioning while partnering closely with project management and other trades on this high‑visibility Bay Area project.
