Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electrical General Foreman for a prominent Bay Area education project, based in Berkeley, CA. You will lead field activities from rough-in to commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule on a $50M higher‑education project.

You will coach foremen, coordinate with the GC and trades, uphold NEC/compliance, and drive BIM-enabled installation methods across a large team.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years supervising large commercial or institutional electrical builds valued at $20 million or more.
• Demonstrated ability to lead 30+ craftworkers as a general foreman.
• Mastery of the NEC and rigorous quality standards.
• High proficiency with drawings/BIM and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Clear communicator and coordinator in high‑tempo settings.
• Prior experience on higher‑ed or student-housing projects a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and inspire field teams; project labor and material requirements.
• Collaborate daily with the GC, campus representatives, and other trades to clear obstacles.
• Champion a zero-incident culture and full NEC / Cal-OSHA compliance.
• Manage QA/QC, review drawings, and apply BIM-based installation methods.
• Monitor productivity, verify timecards, and brief leadership on progress.
• Coach foremen and apprentices, supporting ongoing skill growth.

General Foreman – Bay Area Higher‑Education Project ($50M)

Take charge of all electrical field activities for a $50 million university project. Guiding foremen and crews, you will set pace, uphold quality, and maintain safety from rough-in to final commissioning, working hand-in-hand with project managers and partnering trades on this flagship Bay Area job.
