Vertex is seeking an Electrical Forensic Engineer to investigate electrical system failures across residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-related equipment. You’ll conduct field inspections, analyze evidence, perform engineering evaluations, and prepare technical reports for clients, insurance carriers, and attorneys.

This role blends engineering, field work, and investigative analysis, ideal for curious, detail-oriented professionals who want to understand how and why failures occur.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required or advanced degree with experience
• EIT certification required
• PE license preferred but not required

Responsabilidades

• Conduct forensic investigations of electrical system failures and incidents
• Perform site inspections and collect evidence
• Analyze data to determine root cause and develop engineering opinions
• Prepare technical reports for clients and stakeholders
• Assist with litigation support and exhibits as needed
• Manage investigations within project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate with clients, carriers, attorneys, and contractors
