Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Ohio is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of journeymen, apprentices and helpers on commercial and industrial electrical installations. You will lead, train and evaluate the team while delivering quality work on schedule.

You will read blueprints and specifications, size conduits and raceways, coordinate with other trades, and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes. This role requires strong leadership, field training, and the ability to develop material

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities on small crews.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and schematics.
• Strong communication with trades and supervision.
• Familiarity with NEC guidelines and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers, and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site needs.
• Meet production and budget goals by coordinating tasks.
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Read project docs and lay out tasks from drawings.
• Assist in field training and on-the-job instruction.
