Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. You will oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, lead on-site installation, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include mentoring the crew, coordinating schedules, reading blueprints and specs, and coordinating with supervisors. You should have 7–10 years of electrical construction experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience required.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities and ability to grow in leadership roles.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and project documents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with other trades.
• Experience developing manpower schedules and coordinating with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands
• Ensure work complies with local NEC guidelines
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics
• Lay out work from electrical drawings and underground layouts
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits
