Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The role oversees a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen, ensuring high-quality electrical installation while coordinating schedules and materials.

Candidates should have 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings, and demonstrate leadership, blueprint literacy, and coordination with trade supervisors.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, layouts and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals via clear direction to the crew.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics and lay out work from drawings.
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing; install and terminate devices and panels.
