Job summary

Bergelectric is seeking a Foreman in Las Vegas, NV to supervise electrical crews, coordinate with the general contractor and customer, and manage project schedules, productivity, safety, and labor costs.

You will ensure materials procurement, maintain labor logs, and prepare as-built documentation while enforcing Bergelectric standards and NEC compliance. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring a Journeyman license and field experience.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of field experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Must hold a current Journeyman Wireman license (if required by state/city/c county).
• Experience ordering/tracking materials, cost projections and developing as-builts.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, lead times, product knowledge and installation durations.
• Solid understanding of electrical codes and installation methods.
• Experience in power systems: lighting, fire protection, security and data networks.
• Knowledge of build, installation and maintenance of control panels.
• Ability to read Electrical Single Line blueprints.
• Experience verifying completion and functionality of installations.
• Knowledge of fault identification and repair in electrical apparatus and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Achieve Bergelectric productivity objectives by effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members and maintaining a labor log.
• Establish project goals and monitor success in reaching them.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are received per bulk buy procedures.
• Adhere to contract changes and Bergelectric change notices.
• Utilize a prefabrication facility and installation methods.
• Ensure proper safety equipment, materials, and tools are onsite.
• Provide sufficient notice of crew changes to the Superintendent.
• Proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues.
• Ensure shifts start/finish on time and adhere to break times per policy and law.
• Conduct performance evaluations of crew members.
• Maintain accurate as-builts per procedures.
• Communicate with project owners, architects, GCs, management, and crew.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and all codes and policies.
