Job summary

Bergelectric is seeking a General Foreman in Denver to lead field production for electrical construction projects, overseeing labor, materials, and scheduling while ensuring compliance with safety and Bergelectric standards.

The role requires Journeyman Wireman license where required, strong ability to read plans and NFPA codes, and proven leadership of sub foremen. You will work with project teams to deliver on-time, within budget, and per contract documents.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Wireman license required where applicable.
• Strong ability to read electrical plans and NFPA codes.
• Proven leadership of field crews and foremen.
• Experience with commercial/industrial electrical construction.
• Knowledge of cost management and project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field production activities and plan the job.
• Coordinate with PMs and Superintendents to set goals and monitor progress.
• Track labor hours, needs, and update the project schedule.
• Ensure codes, specs, and installation methods are followed.
• Prepare and maintain installation documentation.
• Provide leadership to sub-Foremen.
• Manage materials costs and orders to control overruns.
• Maintain accurate labor tracking reports and communicate status.
• Proactively resolve potential issues and ensure safety.
• Ensure all safety policies and proper PPE onsite.
• Maintain as-builts per Bergelectric procedures.
• Interface with owners, architects, GC, management, crew.
• Adhere to contract changes and change-order procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and NEC/state/federal codes.
• Foster teamwork across responsibilities.
• Monitor crew morale and positive outcomes.
