Job summary

AC Corporation, a Crete United company, seeks an Electrical Foreman to supervise apprentices, mechanics and journeymen on electrical installations, testing, and repairs. You will verify installations, coordinate with superintendents and clients, and ensure safety and QA/QC compliance on site.

Responsibilities include scheduling, material procurement, documenting safety and project records, mentoring junior staff, and enforcing company policies while maintaining a safe, efficient worksite.

Qualifications

• Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Experience using test meters and diagnostic equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Direct apprentices, journeymen and mechanics on site
• Schedule daily job site activities and inspections
• Select and procure materials, tools and equipment
• Inspect work for compliance with specs
• Maintain safety, QA/QC and project documentation
• Submit timesheets and safety records
• Mentor junior electricians
• Plan layout and install required materials/equipment
• Connect power cables and grounding
• Test circuits for safety and compatibility
• Evaluate equipment performance and determine adjustments
• Enforce company policies and safety rules
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Collaborate with superintendents and clients
• Participate in company and client meetings
