Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. You will oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, lead the on-site installation, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with supervision.

Candidates should have 7–10 years of electrical construction experience, strong leadership and communication, ability to read blueprints and project documents, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership with ability to coach a five-person crew.
• Ability to read blueprints and project documents.
• Aptitude for learning BlueBeam/Navisworks when needed.
• Safety-conscious and able to work overtime including weekends.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality work meets highest standards with the crew.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals with clear directions.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC.
• Measure, cut, install conduits and install electrical devices.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings, including underground layouts.
• Determine wire, conduit, and box sizing.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
