Job summary

Canyon State Electric in the United States is seeking a Foreman to coordinate field operations and oversee electricians on construction sites. This full-time role requires strong leadership, organization, and safety-first mindset to drive project success.

The ideal candidate will have a solid electrical construction background, experience with data centers/high-rise projects is a plus, and the ability to manage budgets, plans, and schedules while working in varied outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial/industrial foreman electrical experience.
• Experience leading crews of 20+ employees.
• Advanced abilities at reading plans, submittals, and specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70 and current electrical codes and installation methods.
• Ability to run projects $1M and larger.
• Clean background and driving record.
• Work outdoors in hot conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field production activities to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, teamwork, pride and development of the team.
• Ensures work is performed according to company standards and project specifications including planning and managing labor, materials, and production on electrical construction projects.
• Creates a material Buy-Out prior to the job beginning.
• Plans work and labor requirements for the project for a minimum of 3 weeks.
• Complete As-Built Drawings and orders material once a week.
• File daily reports and report all incidents.
• Manages all project Close-Out processes as well as budget control (manage the cost on the site).
• Communicates efficiently with the Project Management team as well as the customer / GC.
• Draft RFI's and submit them to the PM team.
• Enforce all HR/ Company policies, safety policies, and perform discipline action with crew as needed.
• Enter and approve timecards for assigned crew.
