Overview of Position

We are hiring experienced Electrical Foremen for several projects in CA. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a crew of 5-10 Journeymen and Apprentices
• Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
• Installing, examining, replacing, or repairing electrical wiring, boxes, conduits, feeders, panels, commercial switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and other electrical components
• Testing electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
• Maintaining, repairing, installing, and testing switchgear, transformers, and switchboard meters
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and low voltage control systems
• Organizing safety meetings and delegating tasks
• Serving as the primary contact with the site superintendent
• Training apprentices on the job
• Ensuring a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
• Controlling inventory and maintaining material lists
• Managing company tools and inspecting completed jobs
• Collaborating with building principals and supervisors
• Responding to emergency calls and troubleshooting electrical faults
• Updating work logs and handling administrative duties
• Communicating professionally with clients and collaborating with other crew members
• Performing trenching for underground electrical work
