Overview of Position

We are hiring experienced Electrical Foremen for multiple projects in CA. Responsibilities include:

• Managing a crew of 5-10 Journeymen and Apprentices
• Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes for installation layouts
• Installing, examining, replacing, or repairing electrical wiring, boxes, conduits, feeders, panels, switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and other electrical components
• Testing electrical equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
• Maintaining and repairing switchgear, transformers, and meters
• Troubleshooting electrical and low-voltage control systems
• Organizing safety meetings and delegating tasks
• Serving as the main contact with site superintendents
• Training apprentices and supervising their work
• Ensuring safety compliance and reporting violations
• Managing inventory and material lists
• Maintaining tools and inspecting completed work areas
• Coordinating with building principals and supervisors
• Responding to emergencies and troubleshooting electrical faults
• Updating logs, client accounts, and handling administrative duties
• Communicating professionally with clients and collaborating with other trades
• Performing underground trenching for electrical lines
