Role Description

The Electrical Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This position oversees electrical crews on commercial and industrial projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with plans, codes, and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing labor and materials, assigning tasks, supervising installation of electrical wiring and equipment, and coordinating with project managers, other trades, and clients. The Electrical Foreman reviews drawings and specifications, troubleshoots electrical issues, conducts inspections, and verifies that testing, documentation, and quality control are properly completed. This role also supports training of electricians and apprentices, promotes a strong safety culture, and maintains clear communication about project progress and issues.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of electricity and electrical wiring, including safe installation, maintenance, and repair practices.
• Experience in electrical contracting, including managing crews, coordinating schedules, and working with other trades on job sites.
• Background in electrical engineering concepts or equivalent technical understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical systems, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions in the field.
• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising electricians and apprentices in commercial or industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and codes; familiarity with NEC and relevant local regulations.
• Strong focus on safety, including enforcing safety procedures, conducting toolbox talks, and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to document work, report progress, and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Relevant journeyman or master electrician license for Texas required.
• Reliable transportation to job sites within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and willingness to work in varying site and weather conditions.
