Role Description

The Electrical Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, responsible for overseeing commercial electrical projects from planning through completion. Daily responsibilities include supervising electricians and apprentices, assigning tasks, and monitoring work to ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications. The Electrical Foreman will coordinate materials, tools, and equipment, read & interpret blueprints & schematics, and ensures installations and repairs are completed accurately and efficiently. This role will also troubleshoot electrical issues on job sites, communicate with project managers and field supervisor, maintaining detailed documentation, and promoting a safe work environment through regular inspections and adherence to company safety policies.

Qualifications

• TDLR J ourneyman license.
• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles and practices.
• Experience in commercial interior renovations with proven ability to manage commercial projects and coordinate teams.
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, including installation, maintenance, and repairs in commercial settings.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical system issues efficiently and safely.
• Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Electrician, or similar supervisory role in commercial electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Understanding of NEC, local codes, and industry safety practices; commitment to OSHA-compliant procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor team members.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to work on-site across multiple commercial job locations within the Houston area.
