Job summary

ISC Constructors in North Carolina seeks a positive, energetic foreman to join our electrical and instrumentation teams. The candidate will supervise crews, ensure safety procedures, report incidents, and manage permits, inventory, and documentation. This multi-skill role requires hands-on leadership and adherence to project plans, quality standards, and safety rules across job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years in the Electrical or Instrumentation industry.
• Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Ability to meet the NCCER Skill Assessment cut score.

Responsibilities

• Promptly report all injuries and incidents to the Supervisor.
• Receive permits from operations and communicate to all crew members.
• Assist with preparing and auditing JSA's/HHA's with the crew.
• Correct and report any unacceptable behavior by associates to the Supervisor.
• Oversee requisition, storage, and upkeep of material inventory, ISC tools, and equipment.
• Assist the Supervisor in preparing RFI's.

The Position:

We are looking for positive, energetic foreman with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Responsible for promptly reporting all injuries and incidents to the Supervisor.
• Responsible for receiving permits from operations and communicating to all crew members.
• Assists with preparing and auditing JSA's/HHA's with the crew.
• Responsible for correcting, then reporting, any unacceptable behavior or actions by associates in the crew to the Supervisor.
• Responsible for the requisition, storage, and upkeep of material inventory, ISC tools, and equipment.
• Assists the Supervisor in preparing RFI's.

Requirements:

• Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum of four (4) years in the Electrical or Instrumentation industry.
