Job summary

POWERX is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) in Houston, TX to perform basic electrical inspections, tests and measurements, set up and remove test equipment, and write detailed reports under limited supervision. Travel up to 50% and a valid driver’s license are required.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years’ experience, and knowledge of electrical theory; OSHA 30-hour, NFPA 70E or CPR/First Aid are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of field service experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical theory is required.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance and maintenance electrical testing.
• Test equipment setup and removal.
• Write detailed test reports.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance.
