Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Field Service Technician to support our Power Solutions Group. You will inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution equipment at customer sites, delivering service with safety and reliability in mind.

You will travel locally and regionally, performing tests on transformers, breakers, switchgear, and relays, while documenting findings and maintaining tools. This role offers competitive pay plus bonuses and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree preferred.
• NETA certification preferred; will substitute 3+ years of relevant work experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low, medium, and high-voltage electrical distribution equipment.
• Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays, and related equipment.
• Respond to customer needs, including occasional emergency calls with professionalism and urgency.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following company and customer safety standards.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Properly manage, check in/out, and care for company tools and test equipment.
• Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.
