Job summary

McClure Engineering seeks a Technician to work on building projects, coordinating with disciplines and learning to deliver quality electrical installations on active construction sites in downtown St. Louis.

You will document installations, inspect components, complete punch lists, and communicate issues with on-site staff. A technical degree and 2+ years’ electrical construction experience are required, with strong MS Office skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate degree required.
• 2+ years’ construction experience, electrical preferred.
• Good communication and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Document electrical system installations for accuracy.
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with design.
• Complete punch lists for quality control.
• Photograph and document incorrect installations for review.
• Communicate issues with on-site staff and coordinate with team.
• Understand NEC basics and maintain attention to detail.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and internal/external staff.
