Job summary

KAI Enterprises in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced Electrical Field Engineer II with 6+ years in MEP consulting or related construction engineering to support commercial, healthcare and industrial projects.

You will provide field engineering across design review, construction administration, testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate holds a PE license, understands NEC and building systems, can coordinate with owners, designers and contractors, and will ensure safe, reliable electrical

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Active PE license required.
  • LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide field engineering support during construction, startup, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and progress.
  • Monitor installation of power distribution, lighting, life safety, and low-voltage systems.
  • Review drawings, specs, and submittals for compliance with codes and contract documents.
  • Coordinate resolutions of field conflicts with owners, architects, and contractors.
  • Support commissioning activities and witness FAT/SAT when required.
  • Ensure project teams meet safety, quality, and performance targets.
