Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Foreman to oversee field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, compliant electrical installations aligned with project requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Travel to job sites and collaboration with customers and subcontractors are common aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, project plans, specifications, and electrical documentation.
• Ability to lead, coordinate, train, and provide direction to electrical field personnel.
• English reading, writing preferred; Spanish preferred.
• Pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews and daily field activities to support project schedules, productivity, and quality standards.
• Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
• Review project plans, blueprints, specifications, schematics, and work orders and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure electrical work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, applicable electrical codes, and project requirements.
• Monitor jobsite progress, workmanship, materials, equipment, and site conditions and address issues that may impact safety, quality, or project completion.
