Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company seeks a Low Voltage Electrical Field Superintendent to lead the low voltage electrical team on a fast-tracked, large semiconductor project at the Boise, ID site. You will supervise subcontractors, manage RFIs and submittals, maintain schedule, and enforce QA/QC and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of low voltage electrical construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Manage RFIs and submittal materials for review with Client/Architect.
• Oversee cost control and QA/QC program.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Provide resolutions to design and constructability issues.
• Respond to client requests and develop resolutions using technical expertise.
• Interpret and implement installations per codes and site specs.
• Provide information for cost estimates and field conditions.
• Facilitate contractor activity ensuring performance per contracts.
• Assist with project staffing management.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
