Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer to join our Arizona team, focusing on semiconductor equipment. You will perform installation, maintenance, and on-site troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems for manufacturing facilities.

The ideal candidate has about 2 years of semiconductor field service experience and a solid electrical background, with exposure to PLCs, schematics, and test instruments.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Field Service experience in semiconductor facilities.
• Electrical background with low/high voltage knowledge and industrial electrician practices.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and CMMS for maintenance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment within manufacturing facilities.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical systems using schematics, multimeters, and analysis tools.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and other industrial equipment.
• Utilize PLCs to diagnose and resolve automation issues.
• Maintain detailed service records using CMMS.
• Support technical sales with equipment specifications and maintenance solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure safety standards and customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned by managers.
