SIDEBOTHAM SUBSTAION SERVICES PLLC is seeking a NETA Field Service Technician – Electrical Testing to perform comprehensive electrical testing, preventive maintenance, and repair on diverse distribution systems. You will join a team that values safety, quality, and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities include field testing of low to high voltage equipment, transformer testing, relay evaluation, and on-site troubleshooting across industrial and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• Must commute daily locally with possible overnight travel.
• 2+ years of hands-on switchgear testing experience required.
• NETA Certification (I–IV) or equivalent desired.
• ABET/EPC or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot and collect data on LV/HV electrical systems.
• Conduct transformer tests using industry methods (Doble, TTR, insulation resistance).
• Test relays and switchgear for proper operation and safety compliance.
• Calibrate relays and perform precision power metering tasks.
• Support on-call emergencies and provide timely field response.
