Job summary

IES in Grapevine, TX seeks an Electric Service Technician to assist with electrical service, maintenance, and repair while upholding safety and quality standards. You will review requests, support troubleshooting across residential to commercial settings, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires 2–4 years’ related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Travel to job sites and working on active sites are expected as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Review service requests, project plans, specifications, and work orders to support job completion.
• Support diagnosing and resolving electrical service issues in residential, commercial, or operational environments.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Communicate with customers regarding service needs, repairs, and project updates.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding service activities and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and customer interactions.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor tools, equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Assist senior technicians and support field service operations as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
