Job summary

IES is seeking an entry-level Plumbing Service Technician to assist with the service, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems for residential and commercial customers in Grapevine, TX. This role supports field service operations while developing technical and customer service skills in a dynamic environment.

The position emphasizes reading basic diagrams and work orders, maintaining tools and records, and adhering to safety codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, service procedures, tools, and construction practices preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical documents and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Support service technicians with troubleshooting, inspections, installations, and repair activities.
• Read and interpret basic work orders, diagrams, specifications, and service documentation as assigned.
• Assist with identifying plumbing issues and completing repairs in accordance with company standards and applicable codes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas in safe and organized condition.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, plumbing codes, and operational standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and jobsite documentation as required.
• Coordinate with field personnel, supervisors, customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding service activities and jobsite needs.
• Provide professional customer interactions and maintain positive customer relationships during service visits.
• Support jobsite organization, material handling, and operational efficiency throughout service activities.
• Participate in training and skill development activities to expand plumbing service knowledge and technical capabilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
