Job summary

POWERX Co in Midland, Texas, is seeking a Field Service Technician (NETA 2) to perform basic electrical inspections, tests, and data collection on-site. The role involves setting up and removing test equipment, conducting basic acceptance and maintenance testing, and following hazardous energy procedures with limited supervision.

The candidate will co-lead projects with senior technicians, prepare detailed reports, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience.
• OSHA 30-hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acceptance and maintenance electrical testing under limited supervision.
• Test for de-energized LOTO equipment.
• Collect and record test data accurately.
• Set up and remove test equipment; maintain cleanliness and condition of tools/equipment.
• Write detailed, timely reports on test results and findings.
• Support project success from start to finish and assist in reporting to clients.
