Placements24 seeks an Electrical Field Service Engineer for our client based in Upington, Northern Cape. The role centers on on-site installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems across the region, with a strong emphasis on reliability and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, have 4+ years in field service, and possess excellent diagnostic and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in field service or hands-on electrical role.
• Ability to travel frequently and work independently.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service electrical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions.
• Conduct performance testing to ensure optimal operation.
• Provide on-site training and support to customers.
• Maintain service reports, logs, and spare parts inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies on site.
• Coordinate with customers, sales, and engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades or additional services.
