Job summary

System One is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer for a 6-month contract in Jamacia, NY. You will design and test electrical systems for industrial plants, oversee project delivery, and provide technical support to maximize efficiency across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3–5+ years of relevant experience in electrical power systems, with a strong background in control theory and maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical power systems, power generation, or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, control systems, and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and test electrical machinery, control equipment, and circuitry in industrial or commercial plants.
• Oversee engineering design, vendor management, and project delivery for plant upgrades, solar, or BESS projects.
• Provide technical support for daily plant operations, drive performance improvements, and analyze operating data to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and operations teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
