Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks an Electrical Field Engineer to support construction of utility-scale solar sites with emphasis on electrical and HV systems. You will coordinate with AHJs, perform FAIs, and manage RFIs to ensure design compliance and project progress.

Projects may require time on-site at multiple locations with rotations; strong collaboration and field data reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional electrical experience in an industrial, utility-scale setting.
• Experience supporting field construction activities under deadlines.
• Experience creating reports and compiling field data.
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site construction activities with a focus on electrical and high-voltage systems.
• Coordinate inspections with AHJs for electrical/HV components.
• Create and conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs).
• Document and maintain construction drawings and red-line sets.
• Manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and project owners.
• Review electrical submittals for compliance with specs.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams accountable to scope of work.
