Job summary

VAS, Inc. seeks a Construction Discipline Engineer (Pipe/Mechanical Field Engineer) to oversee field construction activities, review designs for constructability, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and codes. The role coordinates with design agencies and quality control to verify materials, installation, and turnover readiness.

The candidate will develop work execution plans, perform hazards analyses, and support field execution with walk downs, sequencing, and testing. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Piping/Mechanical engineering or equivalent with field experience.
• Experience generating work execution plans (Asset Suite) and job hazards analysis.
• Knowledge of codes and standards (ASME B31.1/B31.3) and radiological work planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review design output and vendor documents for constructability.
• Perform field walk downs with design engineers to verify constructability and code compliance.
• Develop and track Bill of Materials and material delivery statuses.
• Lead or participate in hazard analyses and work execution plan approvals.
• Coordinate field inspections and ensure readiness of equipment and installations.
