Job summary

Vector Talent Solutions seeks an Electrical Field Inspector for a client in the construction industry. You will inspect electrical rough-in, conduit, wiring, panel installations, and related systems to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and NEC.

Engage with project management, QA teams, and subcontractors to document findings, support inspections, and ensure safe, quality turnover. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and diagrams
• Working knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical installation practices
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coordinate with contractors and teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in active construction environments
• Commitment to safety, quality, and project compliance

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical rough-in, conduit, wiring, panel installations, grounding, bonding, and related systems for code compliance
• Review and interpret electrical drawings and panel schedules for installation accuracy
• Verify labeling, terminations, connections, and components meet design and safety requirements
• Witness and document electrical testing activities and pre-energization tests
• Document findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions using company procedures
• Coordinate inspections with subcontractors, superintendents, engineers, and quality personnel
• Track punch-list items and verify completion prior to turnover
• Maintain organized inspection records and technical logs
• Support project teams in resolving installation issues and ensuring quality and safety standards
• Perform additional inspection and reporting duties as assigned
