Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks an Electronics Technician to support the design and testing of electronic products and circuit card assemblies. You will modify, rework, and assemble CCAs, perform repairs, and ensure operation per specifications.

The role requires soldering under a microscope, cable harness fabrication, and quality verification. Onsite work with a 9/80 schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with solder, mechanical work, quality standards, processes, and documentation.
• Experience with verification/inspection per applicable standards and procedures.
• Experience with cable and harness assembly, fabrication, or rework.

Responsibilities

• Modify, rework, and populate engineering CCAs, assemblies, and subassemblies.
• Perform repairs to returned or damaged units to an operational state.
• Micro-soldering under a microscope for extended periods.
• Build cables and harnesses from schematics.
• Quality verification and inspection under a microscope.
• Repair or replace wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Operate multimeters or ohmmeters to verify connections.
• Identify potential problems and suggest corrective actions.
• Inform management of risks that may affect schedule or quality.
