Job summary

Raytheon seeks junior engineers to support design and test of electronic products and systems in Tucson, on-site. The team focuses on circuit cards, assembly, and testing with opportunities to grow in an expanding defense-focused environment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience, soldering and cable/harness work. Any IPC certifications are a plus as you contribute to quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AA/AS with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience soldering, mechanical work, quality processes and documentation.
• Experience with cable and harness assembly, fabrication and/or rework.

Responsibilities

• Modify and rework engineering CCAs, assemblies, and subassemblies.
• Repair returned/damaged units to an operational state.
• Perform micro-soldering under a microscope and build cables from schematics.
• Inspect and repair wire harnesses and cable assemblies with oversight.
