Eagle Electrical Services—a subsidiary of EMCOR—is seeking an Estimator in Training to join our Plain City, OH team. The role focuses on analyzing contracts, reading drawings, and building detailed estimates for various markets.

The estimator collaborates with Owners, Construction and Project Managers, ensuring accurate cost projections and timely submissions. This is a full-time, onsite role offering growth within a leading national electrical services company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience required.
• Strong time management and detail orientation.
• Experience interpreting construction documents and $math skills$.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review and interpret contracts, plans and specs to develop detailed estimates.
• Complete take-offs within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Define project requirements accurately.
• Obtain quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend pre-bid meetings to ensure full scope of work.
• Assist in determining project resource requirements.
• Provide liaison support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure estimates are accurate and complete.
• Prepare timely turnover documentation from Estimating to PM.
