Job summary

Goliath Construction Consulting is seeking an Electrical Estimator - Special Projects in the Tampa, FL area to focus on small-to-midsize commercial projects including tenant improvements, retail and buildouts, renovations, and service work with project sizes ranging from $7,500 to $1M.

This role targets candidates with 2+ years of commercial electrical estimating experience, preferably in special projects or smaller contractor environments, and proficiency with Accubid.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial electrical estimating experience.
• Experience estimating special projects, tenant improvements, commercial buildouts, renovations, service work or small projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, materials, labor, and practices.
• Ability to estimate projects from small service work to about $1M.
• Electrical estimating software experience required; Accubid is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial special projects (tenant improvements, buildouts, renovations, service).
• Review drawings, specs, scopes, and customer requests to determine requirements.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs; obtain vendor/subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare proposals, scope clarifications, exclusions, and pricing revisions.
• Manage multiple estimates and quick-turn opportunities; coordinate with customers, PMs, vendors, and field personnel.
