Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial and healthcare projects in the Tampa area. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction costs, project specifications, and estimating practices, with collaboration across project teams.

Responsibilities include quantity takeoffs, bid preparation, subcontractor review, and cost analysis to support budgeting and forecasting throughout the project

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical estimating, preferably within commercial construction.
• Familiarity with healthcare construction projects and electrical systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical plans, specifications, codes, and construction practices.
• Experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.
